Hey everyone! Good to see you again this week. Iâve found some more pretty cool stuff to share. đ Pull up a chair, sit back, grab a cup of coffee (and maybe a donut, or a protein bar) and join me on this weekâs wild ride.
Wendyâs Made a D&D style campaign (Seriously)
Thatâs right! Wendyâs made their very own role-playing adventure in the style of D&D. Itâs called Feast of Legends, and everythinggggg is Wendyâs inspired -from characters to weapons.
Honestly, it looks like Wendyâs heard about KFCâs dating simulator and decided to raise the bar - by ten. Whereas KFCâs dating simulator is woefully short and not really a legitimate dating simulator (you can only choose the colonel), Wendyâs went all out.
This beast of a PDF is 97 pages long - with great art, directions, and pretty decent lore.
Hereâs the summary from Wendyâs site.
THEÂ Fight Against Frozen Beef
The nation of Freshtovia has been the lone beacon of hope in the land of Beefâs Keep for decades. However, the Ice Jester and his rogues gallery of frozen fiends threaten Queen Wendyâs reign of prosperity. Prepare your heroes for adventure.
Thatâs only the tip of the iceberg. Crack open the pdf and discover enough Wendyâs marketing to DEFINITELY make you want to eat there more frequently. You can use food from Wendyâs to buff your character and make him/her more intelligent, master the art of the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and so much more! You can even join the Order of the Baconator Fries.
The Best part of all this? This is a real game you can actually play, with real rules and a gamemasterâs guide. They didnât skimp on this project. This is probably one of the best marketing stunts out of the restaurant industry Iâve seen in a while. Niche it might be - but the internet will eat it up like a Frosty.
What do you like better? KFCâs Faux Dating Simulator or Wendyâs D&D style campaign?

Windows takes another stab at phones
For years weâve heard the rumors that Windows wanted to take another stab at the phone industry.
That day has finally arrived.
Last week Windows announced several new and fascinating devices. Surface Duo and Surface Neo.
Surface Neo is like a Windows tablet - but it has two screens, a magnetic keyboard, and a pen. Honestly, it looks pretty dope.
Surface Duo is an android phone (Yes, Android!) that has two dual screens.
Gone is the old Windows OS for phones, banished forever.
Instead we have a cool new clamshell Windows phone that you have to physically open to see your screens. No peaking at notifications on the outside. Hereâs the trailer.
The gist that I get from the trailer is that this is a machine built for productivity - for the busy adult who needs to multitask (emails, texts, voice conferences, etc) on the go- but a simple one screened phone ainât doing the trick. It definitely looks like a niche device, kind of like the Blackberry androids of the past few years.
It comes out in 2020, and I canât wait to read the reviews! đ
A new streaming service arises - called Quibi!
Your first reaction to that headline might have been to get very, very angry. After all, you have to buy Disney in a month, and then NBC next year when the Office leaves Netflix. Pretty soon, youâll be paying more for streaming than you ever did for cable.
Let me pique your interest with Quibi - itâs a new kind of streaming service. Itâs centered around short form entertainment (Think five or ten minutes) but with Hollywood/HBO quality and directors.
âWhat we say internally is weâd like to be the quality of HBO and offer customers the convenience of Spotify,â Whitman said in an interview from Quibiâs Hollywood office. âWeâre not Facebook Watch. Weâre not Snapchat. Weâre not Instagram TV. Weâre not YouTube. Weâre Quibi, and itâs not denigrating those platforms at all ... but weâre staking out a premium position relative to those.â Source
From the articles Iâve read - I can tell you this. Thereâs a lot of money and talent behind this app, and they have what it takes to succeed. According to The Wall Street Journal theyâve already sold over 100 million dollars in ads for this platform. Thatâs no small chunk of change!
Will it succeed, or will it be the next Tidal? đ€
I look forward to hearing more about this app, and seeing if it lives up to the hype. Check out their site to learn more!
The Land of Random
Banksyâs âDevolved Parliamentâ painting sold for 12 million dollars. Can you believe it? đČ I wish I had a Banksy to sell. LOL. Check out more about the auction here.
More Modular homes. Sorry, but these are beautiful and I simply had to share this website! đ Many of these are available for purchase in the USA, in case you might be interested. Heck, you could put one in your backyard and rent it out on Airbnb! They have ones that small. đ
This cute little chicken from Imgur made my day - and I hope it makes your Monday a little brighter too! Itâs just a few seconds. You have time to watch it, trust me!
