šµMake Sick Tracks In Your Browser
The coolest music creation tool i've seen YET
Hello friends! Welcome to this weekās edition of āThe Land of Random.ā
It has been RAINING NONSTOP here in Tennessee - and I canāt wait for some sunny days. I managed to tame the backyard. It was in bad shape.
The Salamanders are BACK too! No rabbits this year . . . not sure where they went. I havenāt seen a wild rabbit in at least a year.
I just finished book 6 of Dungeon Crawler Carl, and am about to start book 7. The audiobooks keep getting fancier with each book. More sound effects, music, āpizzazz.ā
Iām going to try the cinematic version in Soundbooth to see how wild they go (itās apparently full immersion).
Did you go watch The Backrooms this weekend? I want to watch it soon.
Internet indie movies are GOING MAINSTREAMMMMM FAMMMM LETāS GOO.
Shoutout to 4Chan - where the lore all started.
If youāre new to the Backrooms lore - make sure to get started with the original film.
You wonāt regret it . . . unless youāre easily scared eh?
In that case - watch the McDonalds Backrooms video. (Seriously, itās official).
One last random note. Slice sells prebiotic dirty sodas now. Theyāre pretty good! I saw them at Target last weekend and got one to try.
Letās dive in!
š¼Make Sick Tracks
I have a love-and-hate relationship with digital audio workstations (DAWās) for making music.
Iāve tried FL Studio, Ableton Live . . . but honestly I just like GarageBand.
Itās easy to use - especially when all Iām doing is recording samples, beats, and using Output Arcade with a little keyboard.
Iām no professional - just a guy making a little music for fun.
Meet Riffle.Studio - an in-browser tool for making music.
You can record samples, find samples, experiment, and collaborate with friends live.
As opposed to being some professional feature crazy DAW - itās focused on having fun and collaborating.
Hereās what it looks like.
The interface is as simple as it looks. In addition to adding songs - you can add notes, links, comments, and images.
THATāS RIGHT - ITāS A MUSIC-MAKING CANVAS TOOL.
You donāt have to have a midi keyboard or drum pad either. Itās keyboard-friendly!
Itās the coolest online music-making tool Iāve found in years.
Check it out!

Tell Ghostface What to Do
the most fun Iāve had on a website in years - reminiscent of some of those crazy internet social experiements in the very early 00ās - except this one is canned. Type in random phrases for Ghostface.
Internet Music
You have to listen to believe it. Incredible, never-before-seen wonders.
Email Alias Forwarding
Create a different email alias for every service you use THEN find out which one leaks your info . . . A most interesting way to discover HOW THE EVERLIVING HECK you get subscribed to newsletters you definitely didnāt subscribe to.
Thatās all for this week! See you next time!
