🩸 A Terrifying Ketchup Jigsaw Puzzle, Access Lifetime Deals, and AI Music Generation
Don’t bother creating music - get the robots to do it!
Heyyyy everybody! How are y’all doing this week?
I hope you are doing well this week. The weather has been up and down here in Tennessee. One day it’s 80 degrees, and then it’s 50 degrees two days later. It’s weird weather here for May.
It’s also weird to go out in public again. My gas tank is still running on the gas from March!
Our sweet little baby has been growing a lot. It’s hard to believe that she is almost two months old now . . . Time flies by fast!
So - let’s get down to business, to defeat - no wait. Grab that coffee, cuz I got some crazy links for you this week.
🩸 A Terrifying Ketchup Puzzle
Yes - a ketchup jigsaw puzzle. Apparently, Heinz Canada (Yeah, we don’t get access to this in the US) decided to make a Ketchup jigsaw puzzle inspired by its famous condiment. The trouble is - every tile is the same color.
Here’s the trailer.
This is a brilliant marketing campaign. It ties into the COVID-19 crisis without directly mentioning it at all. It just mentions that people are staying home a lot more at the moment. It’s also ridiculous and eye-catching.
It’s a great virality play to get free impressions and reach during the COVID-19 crisis. Great work Heinz! Getting those free brand mentions without having to spend money on ads.
💸Access Lifetime Deals
We all love and hate them. As a marketer, I watch deals come and go on Appsumo and hold myself back from spending the money. I occasionally buy deals on Humble Bundle, especially when they have courses.
Well, I’ve found a brand new tool for finding more lifetime deals. I’m so sorry. It compiles deals from multiple websites and displays them in a little Chrome extension box.

🎶 AI Music Generation
Open AI is back at it again with a wild new project. They’ve released Jukebox, a neural network for music generation. Here’s their intro.
We’re introducing Jukebox, a neural net that generates music, including rudimentary singing, as raw audio in a variety of genres and artist styles. We’re releasing the model weights and code, along with a tool to explore the generated samples.
Here’s an example. It’s really crazy to think that we’ve come this far with music generation!
They’ve released the code, so I’m sure you could build something using if you’re interested. For example, I could see a lot of value in creating some kind of AI podcast intro generator. Check it out here!

📄 Better Sheets
Google Sheets is a fantastic tool, but it’s difficult to do complex tasks if you don’t have a ton of time to write formulas. There’s even tools for tracking cryptos! It’s currently on sale for $19 on AppSumo for a limited time.
